HISTORY
Heritage spills from every corner of this small town. Watching over the historic Piazza Municipio is the baroque façade of the Church of San Francesco di Paola. Step inside to escape the Sicilian sun and see oil paintings depicting the life of the Italian saint it’s dedicated to. Don’t miss Gagini’s famous sculpture of Madonna dell’Oreto at the altar.

Close to the coast and at the gateway of Mount Etna Regional Park, Linguaglossa makes the perfect starting point for exploration. Start early and join a walking tour into the mountains – or even explore the hills on horseback. Step back in time and discover the area’s rich heritage with a trip to nearby Taormina. Founded in the 4^th-century BC, this is a town of fascinating ruins, pretty piazzas and Sicilian dolce vita.

Rolling vineyards and mountain views take centre stage in Linguaglossa. Venture out to the vineyards for a spot of wine tasting.
