Things to do
BEACHES
St Brélade is home to St Brelade’s Bay – one of Jersey’s most popular beach resorts. Sink your toes into soft, golden sands, or pull up a sun lounger and watch the waves roll in. For somewhere a little more secluded, you could travel to Les Mielles Nature Reserve. This quiet stretch of countryside has a fine beach where you can spot wading birds.
WATER
Those in search of a more active day beside the sea will find much on offer in St Brélade. Take a chartered fishing trip, or tour the coastline by sea kayak. Try your hand at kite surfing, or zip across the surface on a jet ski. The sheltered waters of St Brelade’s bay offer the perfect conditions for getting to grips with a paddleboard, or just enjoying a leisurely swim in the sea.
DAY TRIPS
While in St Brélade, why not plan a family day out, or head off and explore more of Jersey? Take to the treetops on an exhilarating high-ropes course at Creepy Valley Adventure Centre. Stroll through miles of fragrant fields at the Jersey Lavender Farm. Or delve into the island’s past at the historic Jersey War Tunnels. This atmospheric underground network was built during the Nazi occupation of the island in World War Two.
