Stay Small, Stay Considerate

akyra Manor Chiang Mai has been single-use plastic free since 2019. Guests are provided with alternatives including stainless-steel water bottles, refillable organic toiletries made using essential oils and tote bags. The bar and restaurant are also single-use plastic free.
The hotel uses locally produced, recycled paper throughout the hotel. All paper undergoes a third round of life when it is donated to local schools.
Together with Pure Blue Foundation, the hotel donates scholarships to support students and help local schools with initiatives from planting organic vegetables and teaching English to helping improving school facilities.
Since May 2018 the hotel has been working with Sangwan Wittaya School to educate students on how to reduce plastic in their daily lives and implement a waste sorting system at the school.

Comfy and wonderful

Really enjoyed the stay in Akyra Manor ChiangMai. Lobby is unique!Feeled all welcome from the staffs. Especially front desk PEEM, tried his best to help us settle down our room. Suite is great. GREAT STAY!

The staff was GREAT, more than could be expected. Goi and her colleague (I forgot his name), asst managers at the front desk really made this stay. They were attentive and helpful, but not overly so (the other extreme; it can be unpleasant when someone is trying TOO hard or being too indulgent. This Read more[SPLIT]Read lesswas not the case here). I would stay here again or follow them to another hotel if I needed to book again. This really did have a boutique feel and a modern vibe (kind of what W hotels try to do) but still remained intimate and understated. Hopefully it will stay that way and not develop into some "family" hotel where wannabe hipsters feel some need to bring their infants along.
