The outdoor cafe with a live DJ for entertainment gives it a vibe like South Miami but on the slopes. Also, the heated outdoor pool with a glass sauna and hot tub overlooking the snow-covered mountains is unforgettable. Whether you want to enjoy skiing or just a relaxed day off the slopes, no other place in the area can come anywhere close to what it offers. Some unforgettable moments are enjoying cheese fondue with some hot red wine with family and friends during an afternoon break from skiing and then watching shooting stars at night in the heated outdoor pool and hot tub. El Lodge is fantastic for couples and families alike and is its own jewel.

We had another excellent stay in El Lodge, which is still simply the best hotel by far in Sierra Nevada. In particular, the breakfast and bar cocktails were excellent and better than in the years past. The staff all very pleasant and efficient. Bravo! Looking forward to coming back next season.
