Quiet hotel with excellent service in walking distance to city center

Excellent customer service and quiet rooms. We upgraded to a premium room for a little more space and larger bathroom with shower instead of tub only. Location just inside the city restricted driving zone made it easy to walk into the city center. A/C system worked well. Valet parking was helpful to Read more[SPLIT]Read lessavoid parking problems . and penalty for driving into the TLZ restricted zone for residence/business. No onsite gym facility, but they offered paid access to a gym down the street.

Heavenly!

Very nicely decorated and, above all, very clean luxurious hotel, located in a slightly less busy area of the city, but it is and remains a city hotel.

Large and beautiful terrace with lots of greenery and a central fountain. Only a pity that the back of an ugly apartment building overshadows the perfection of the picture. This is the second time in the past year, that I have visited Florence and chosen to stay at the Regency, it's in a quite neighbourhood, very friendly staff, nice large rooms but with a small cramped bath tub (that's the only downside)

Hotel Regency’s rich culinary tradition has much to entice the senses. At dinner, feast on course after course of authentic Italian food, using seasonal produce from local Tuscan markets – with wine selected by the in-house sommelier. Filled with huge mirrors and flickering candles, Relais le Jardin spills out on to The Veranda where, on Fridays and Saturdays, barbecued treats can be enjoyed al fresco.

In the Zodiaco Room- grand mirrors reflect evocative candlelight whilst the boiserie and hand-painted glass echo an intricate history and a passion for serving luscious food in a complementary environment. The Veranda is a natural extension of the dining room- with windows offering a glimpse of the private Regency.
